HD WIFI Camera Module Remote Camera
- A compact IP camera module built on a small green PCB, pairing a detachable camera head on a flexible ribbon cable with a main board carrying USB Type-C, a flat-cable connector and an etched antenna trace.
- Delivers 15 FPS video over Wi-Fi with loop recording, letting fixed or portable housings gain remote viewing without a full camera redesign.

Overview
Product Overview
The HD WIFI Camera Module Remote Camera is a video capture board rather than a finished camera. Its main PCB carries a surface-mounted image processor, a microphone capsule, a white flat-cable connector, a metal USB Type-C port and a secondary connector, with an etched meander antenna trace running along the board edge. A long black ribbon cable leaves the flat-cable connector and ends in a small black square camera head with a visible lens, so the sensor can sit where the view is while the board sits where there is room.
Key Features
- Separated head and board: the ribbon cable lets the lens be aimed independently of the PCB, which suits enclosures where the board cannot face the subject.
- Wi-Fi remote viewing: the module supports wireless remote access, so live images can be pulled without running signal cable to the camera position.
- Loop recording: storage is overwritten in sequence once the card is full, keeping the most recent footage without manual clearing.
- 15 FPS capture: a steady frame rate suited to monitoring rather than high-motion capture.
- On-board audio: the microphone capsule on the PCB captures sound alongside video; where audio is recorded, local privacy and data protection rules apply.
- Compact footprint with mounting holes: the reverse side shows a metal shield structure, two mounting holes and rows of solder pads and test points for integration work.
Technical Parameters
- Frame rate: 15 FPS
- Wi-Fi remote: supported
- Loop recording: supported
- Interfaces visible on the board: USB Type-C, flat-cable camera connector, secondary connector, integrated antenna trace
- Form: bare module with remote camera head on flexible ribbon
Housing, lens angle, power supply and storage capacity are determined by the integrator's design; recording duration depends on bitrate and card capacity.
Customization
OEM/ODM service is accepted, and small-quantity customization is possible, which lowers the capital tied up before a product line is proven. Firmware behaviour, peripheral pairing and mechanical matching can be discussed against your enclosure. Please contact us for the current specification sheet and customization scope.
Application Scenarios
The split head-and-board layout fits fixed indoor monitoring, shelf or counter observation, and portable recording units where the lens must be placed away from the electronics. Because video can be viewed remotely over Wi-Fi and stored in loop mode, the module suits small surveillance builds that need continuous recent footage rather than long archives. Integrators adding audio should confirm compliance with local privacy and data protection regulations.
Applications
- Fixed indoor monitoring: the remote head is aimed at a doorway or aisle while the board sits inside a wall or ceiling housing.
- Retail counter observation: a small lens watches a till or display without a bulky camera body in view.
- Portable recording units: the ribbon separates lens from board so a compact wearable or handheld housing can record over Wi-Fi.
- Equipment cabinets: the board mounts on a panel and the head looks through a small aperture at the enclosure interior.
- Prototype surveillance builds: small-batch customization lets a brand test a camera design before committing to volume tooling.
